Recording Studio Engineer
- Full or Part-Time
  • Meeting with clients to determine the requirements and specifications of recordings or performances.
  • Safely setting up, repairing, servicing, and replacing equipment when required.
  • Recording live and recorded audio.
  • Maintaining equipment health.
  • Understanding briefs and making helpful suggestions if possible and appropriate.
  • Editing and mixing audio to client specifications.
  • Continue advancements in the field through ongoing training.
  • Building solid, professional relationships with other artists and clients.
Sound Engineer Requirements:
  • Part time with potential to Full time position.
  • High school diploma, recommended.
  • Associate’s degree or other relevant certification recommended.
  • Practical experience with recording, editing, and mixing software.
  • Familiarity with audio mixing consoles, signal flow, equipment troubleshooting, microphones placement, microphone preamps, Mac products.
  • A good ear and creative spirit.
  • Ability to follow instructions and remain professional under pressure.

Other recommended skills: marketing, sales experience

Required: Avid Protools, self motivator

Wage: Full Time / Part Time starting @ $15/hour

Recording Studio Internship
  • Maintain quality of music studio equipment.
  • Safely setting up, repairing, servicing, and replacing equipment when required.
  • Gain experience with customer service.
  • Learn recording techniques and assist in recording projects.
  • Gain experience with basic marketing techniques.
  • Potential opportunity to work on projects with producers and music artists.
Internship Requirements:
  • Part time with potential to Full time position.
